ten months!!

On little Miss Peyton's 10 month birthday, she was not the happiest camper.  The teething monster decided to pay her a visit.  And the day before that, she battled a fever all day.  Poor girl had a rough couple of days, but thankfully she seems to be back to her normal happy self.

I can't believe I am already starting to plan her first birthday party.  It seems like yesterday that we took her home from the hospital.  But, I think that she is at the best age right now.  She is so much fun.  I really am loving every moment with her along the way.

  • She is about 17 lbs and about 26.5 inches.
  • She is now wearing her 9 month clothes!  She wears size 2 diapers during the day and 3s at night... Size 3 is the smallest overnight diaper they make.  After about 5 different diapers, we found an overnight that didn't leak.  YAY!  (Thank you Huggies Overnights!)
  • She sleeps in her own crib in her own room!!  (This started a week or so ago.)  This has greatly improved her sleep.  From up every 2 hours to only waking up once in the middle of the night. Everyone, including Peyton, is happier with more sleep.
  • She crawls!  She has mastered the army crawl and moved on up to crawling on all 4s.
  • She really, really wants to stand up... Scary!
  • She now has SIX teeth!!  She got the sixth on her 10 month birthday.
  • She babbles all the time.. mama, dada, ba, and more!  So sweet.
  • She loves to laugh.
  • She likes Bubble Guppies and My Little Pony.
  • Her favorite toy is... all of them... especially anything that isn't her toy, ie cell phones, remotes, laptop chargers, etc...
  • She loves to clap, she will "play" Patty Cake!
  • She is learning to share.  You ask her "can I have that please?" and she hands it to you!  Adorable!
  • She is starting to stand. We will hold her up until she gets balanced and then let go and she can stand for a few seconds.  Guess it's time to start baby proofing...
  • She loves books!
  • She loves "this little piggy", "patty cake" and "row row row your boat"
