End of the Road...

With only a week left (!!!) I thought I would make one cute little blog.

I have had 2 due dates in my head since the get go. My doctor said I was due April 2nd according to the ultrasound measurements at 8 weeks.  An ultrasound tech, and myself, had come up with March 26th as the due date according to the calculations.  At the end of the day, I figured that baby will come when she is good and ready.  I was just hoping that she wasn't going to make her grand entrance fashionably late.  I like to be on time, so hopefully she will too. ;)

At my (almost) 38 week ultrasound/appointment last Friday my doctor asked me if I would want to be induced at 39 weeks.  My immediate answer was, uuummmm, yes!  I would love to get up and move without hurting!  But, I wanted to check with Paul, and get his thoughts.  After talking (well, texting) about it, we decided to go with the induction!  So, unless our little girl decides to grace us with her presence before, I will be induced on March 26th!!!  It is all so real now.  Its crazy.  I can't wait!

A few odds and ends, just for fun!

How far along? 38 Weeks 1 day
Total weight gain: No idea.  I honestly don't know what I weighed before hand, and I refuse to look at the scale every time.
Maternity clothes? I still get away with a few tops that are non-maternity, but most are up a size (or 2) from my normal size.
Stretch marks? Not yet!
Sleep: When I sleep, its good... Until I have to change positions... Then I am up, uncomfortable and look forward to falling back asleep.  I get a few hours at a time, as I am sure will be the theme in months to come.
Best moment this week: Taking a nap with Paul on Sunday. I know that it won't be often that we just get to nap whenever we want.  So I am enjoying those little moments.

Miss Anything? A lot of things!!
Movement:She moves all the time it seems like.  And it hurts!!  I am looking forward to watching her move, as opposed to feeling her move. :)
Food cravings: No real cravings...
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing.
Symptoms: Lots of pain in my stomach and ribs from where her leg moves around.
Belly Button in or out? Innie still!
Wedding rings on or off? Off, as of about a week ago.  It was difficult to get it on one morning, so I am not risking having it get stuck!
Looking forward to: The moment she decided to grace us with her presence... or next Monday... Whichever comes first!
